Organizing Committee 2025

Setareh Tasdighian
President

Dr. Setareh Tasdighian is a senior postdoctoral scientist at VIB (Flemish Institute for Bioinformatics in Belgium), University of Ghent. Her current research includes developing AI algorithms for analyzing single cell transcriptomics data. She has also collaborated with GSK to analyze systems vaccinology data. Setareh is a mathematician by training and completed her Ph.D. in the mathematical modeling of evolutionary systems biology in plants. Following her Ph.D., she worked at BASF as a computational system biologist, where she applied her expertise in database management, software development, and algorithm design in biochemistry and biotechnology.

Léa Boulos

Léa Boulos is a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a strong foundation in AI, software engineering, and bioinformatics. She holds advanced degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Genomics from KU Leuven and Université Paris-Saclay. Currently working as a consultant at Dataroots, she specializes in developing robust ML models, deploying LLM-based solutions, and applying DevOps practices. Her background includes impactful research in genomics and computer vision at GSK and academic labs. She brings technical expertise in Python, PyTorch, computer vision, and statistical modeling, with hands-on experience in end-to-end ML workflows.

Malek Rebai
